Accessible Housing Society

Marketing & Communications

During a three-year tenure leading Marketing and Communications for Accessible Housing Society, efforts focused on strengthening the organization’s public presence and clearly communicating its mission of inclusive, barrier-free living. This included the full redesign of two major websites, with an emphasis on accessibility, user experience, and brand consistency. A comprehensive range of marketing materials—spanning digital assets, print collateral, and promotional content—was also developed to engage a diverse audience of clients, donors, and community stakeholders.

Accessible Housing

Website redesign

The goal was to create inclusive, easy-to-navigate platforms that reflect the organization’s mission to serve individuals with limited mobility and promote barrier-free living.

Our work included a complete visual refresh, improved content structure, and adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG and RHFAC principles). The redesign ensured consistency with the organization’s visual identity while enhancing usability for a wide range of users—clients, families, donors, and community partners.

The primary goals were to raise awareness of the organization’s mission, amplify its community impact, and support fundraising initiatives through consistent, engaging digital storytelling.

Visual Collateral

Digital Printing & Signage Design

A wide range of print and signage materials were designed to support Accessible Housing Society’s outreach, awareness, and fundraising efforts. This included brochures, posters, billboards, trade show banners, and event collateral—each crafted to reflect the organization’s brand and mission.

The designs maintained visual consistency and clarity while prioritizing accessibility and audience engagement. These materials played a key role in increasing public visibility, strengthening donor communication, and sharing the impact of Accessible Housing’s work in the community.

Billboard ads

A series of impactful billboard ads were designed and displayed city-wide in 2024 to raise awareness about the urgent need for accessible housing in Calgary.

Clean typography, impactful imagery, and concise messaging were used to ensure clarity and legibility from a distance, while reinforcing the organization’s brand and mission.

Social Media Marketing

We developed and scheduled daily content across platforms, crafted messaging aligned with the organization’s tone and values, and highlighted key programs, resident stories, and donor contributions. Strategic campaigns were created around annual fundraisers, awareness days, and program milestones to boost visibility and inspire action.
